The ASEAN Stakeholder Summit on Generative AI for Education was first introduced in 2024 as a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering discussions on the role of Generative AI in education across the ASEAN region. Organized by the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), in collaboration with key stakeholders, the summit brought together educators, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the policy, governance, and ethical considerations of AI in education.
Building on the success of the 2024 summit, the 2nd ASEAN Stakeholder Summit on Generative AI for Education 2025 seeks to transition from high-level discussions to research-driven solutions, practical implementations, and policy advancements. By focusing on evidence-based applications, the conference aims to bridge the gap between AI research and real-world educational practices while fostering regional collaboration.
