What is the ASEAN Stakeholder Summit on Generative AI for Education 2025
The ASEAN Stakeholder Summit on Generative AI for Education 2025 is a premier regional summit bringing together educators, policymakers, technologists, and industry leaders to explore the transformative impact of Generative AI on education across Southeast Asia. The summit aims to foster collaboration, share best practices, and chart a course for AI integration in educational systems.
This year’s Summit follows, and is informed by, the results of the 2024 Summit.
When and where will the summit take place?
The summit is scheduled for 18–20 November 2025.
The first 2 days will be held at the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) campus in Kuala Lumpur, and the 3rd day of the Summit will be held at the Open University Malaysia campus in Kelana Jaya, Selangor.

How can I register for the summit?

On-site registration will also be available, subject to capacity.
What are the registration fees, and are there any discounts?
Registration fees vary based on participant category (e.g., student, academic, industry). Early bird and group discounts are available. Please refer to the “Registration” section on our website for detailed pricing.
Is there a Call for Papers (CFP)? How can I submit my work?
Yes, we invite submissions for papers and poster presentations. Detailed guidelines and submission portals are available on our website under the “Call for Papers” section. The submission deadline for abstracts is 31st July 2025.

Will there be opportunities for networking and collaboration?
Absolutely. The summit will feature networking sessions, panel discussions, and collaborative workshops designed to foster connections among attendees from diverse backgrounds and sectors.
There are also breaks and mealtimes that are perfect for networking.
Can I apply to conduct a workshop?
Currently all workshops have been curated and finalised.

Are accommodations and travel arrangements provided?
Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. However, we have partnered with several hotels near the venue to offer discounted rates. Details are available on the website under the ” Accommodation” section.

Will the summit be available virtually for remote participants?
The ASEAN Stakeholder Summit on Generative AI for Education 2025 is primarily an in-person event to maximize engagement and networking opportunities. However, selected sessions may be streamed online. Please check our website for updates on virtual participation options.
